Eugene Joseph Theriot, 96, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Sunday, June 13, 2010. Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by: Sons: Eugene Theriot, Jr. and wife Cathy, Philip Theriot,all of Houma Victor Theriot and wife Susan of South Carolina Daughters: Sylvia Theriot, Linda Theriot Collins and husband Eugene, Rebecca Gautreaux and husband Ivan, Janet Massey and husband David, Roberta Schulte and husband Jerome, Prissy Luke and husband Kevin all of Houma Brothers: Roland Theriot and wife Maxine, Clayton Theriot and wife Jerri Sisters: Gladys Theriot, Jennette Leo and husband Ralph, Gloria Verrett 41 Grandchildren, 70 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren Daughter in Law: Iris Theriot Son in Laws: Sterling Authement, David Percle, Loney Grabert Linda Theriot Collins, Houma, LA He is preceded in death by his Wife: Leona Tivet Theriot Parents: Emelian Theriot, Sr. and Francine Champagne Theriot Son: Francis Theriot Daughters: Mary Elaine Authement, Earline Jackson, Patricia Grabert Brothers: Nolan, Ralph, Linwood, Emeline, Jr., Alfred and John Theriot Sisters: Margie Bonvillian, Ella Mae Porche, Blanche Ardoin, Nell Bourg, Cellina Theriot Granddaughter: Jenna Theriot He was a retired Boat Captain. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
