Ethel Griffin

Ethel Voisin Griffin, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died at 8:58 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Joseph Sam Griffin; one son, Sam Griffin of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Barbara Griffin and Anna Grace Griffin of Houma; one brother, Albert Voisin; and one sister, Pearl Voisin Williamson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Voisin and Josephine Pellegrin Voisin; and one son, Joey James Griffin. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
