Leroy Francis Guidry Sr., 74, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Donaldson Guidry; three children, Pam Guidry Crayne and husband, T.J., Leroy Guidry Jr. and Kenny Guidry and wife, Jody; seven grandchildren, Jenni and Lauren Guidry, Charlie and Katie Crayne, Alexis, Emma and Lily Guidry; one brother, Clifford Guidry; and his dog, Oreo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Guidry; three brothers, Jeff Guidry, Percy Guidry and Jimmie Maurice Guidry; and three sisters, Hilda Domangue, Lillian Matherne and Geraldine Doiron.
He was a retired insurance agent and a Korean War veteran. He loved the craft of woodworking and enjoyed creating treasures for his family.
He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association.
