Steve Duval

Steve Anthony Duval, 47, a native of Morgan City and resident of Gibson, died at 3:57 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Carole Authement Duval; his parents, Albert Joseph Duval and Josephine Daigle Duval of Morgan City; one son, Benjamin Duval and wife, Lovie, of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Maggie D. Davis and husband, Eric, of Lockport; and two brothers, Louis J. Duval of Stephensville and Albert "Jay" Duval of Merced, Calif. He was a self-employed carpenter and a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
