Stanley Joseph Marchand,k Jr., 74, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi died February 15, 2010. Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his sons, Ronald P. Marchand of Houma, LA and Kirk A. Marchand and wife Wanda of Houma, LA; daughter, Sandra Marchand Hurst and husband Chad of Houma, LA; borhter, Forest Marchand of Houma, LA and Shirley M. Bunch of Houma, LA; grandchildren, Wesley and Jody Marchand; Christy, Chad and Destin Hurst; and great grandchildren, Sage and Caden Hurst and Leland Vito. He was veteran with the United States Marine Corps.; he was a member of the American Legions. He worked for the Louisiana Department of Highway for 2 years;for Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office for 18 years and T.Baker Smith for 31 years.
