Febronia "Nona" Rivera Maltman, 68, a native of Galveston, TX and a resident of Houma, LA died on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 8:35 PM. Visitation will be held from Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 10:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Miguel Chapa and wife Pamela of Houma, LA; daughter, Susan Bergeron and husband Brian Covington, LA; foster son, Edwin Halford of Sweetwater, TX; grandson, Shawn Chapa; grand daughters, Michelle Bergeron, Elyse Bergeron and Shantelle McDaniels and Rachel Chapa; brothers, Chico Rivera, Geraldo, Rivera, Paul Rivera and Herman Rivera and sisters, Eleanor Taylor and Rosario Blanco. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Maltman; parents, Pacheco Rivera and Guadalupe Lupita Gomez; son, Bobby Walker and brother, Joe Rivera.
