Jason Giroir

Jason Matthew Giroir, 40, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died Saturday, February 6, 20210. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 am until service time which will be at 12:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral HOme. Burial will be in at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. He is survived by two sons, Jason Matthew Giroir, Jr., and Kalob Bryan Brassier, father, Dudley Giroir, grandmother, Ida Griffith, one brother, David Giroir and wife Cheryl; two sisters, Jan Breaux and husband Henry, Jr., and Jennifer Giroir; one nephew, Henry Breaux, III; three nieces Crystal Guidry and husband Cy, Lindsay Giroir, and Brooke Giroir, and two great nephews Casen Guidry and Jayden Thibodeaux. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Griffith Giroir, grandafther, Fred Griffith, and grandparents, Nolan and Velma Giroir. Jason lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed being around people and had many friends. Jason loved to cook and he especially loved fishing. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
