Velina Dupre Scott, 88, a native of Four Point. LA and a resident of Houma, LA died on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 7:50 PM. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Daniel P. Scott and fiance' Rhonda Norberg of Bayou Blue; daughters, Suzanne S. Herman of Houma, Patty J. Dupre and husband Rodney P. Dupre of Bourg, Pam S. Rollans and husband Daniel V. Rollans; 5 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Scott; parents, Willie Francis Dupre and Alida Pellegrin Dupre; brother, Antoine Dupre and sisters, Elizabeth Dupre, Agnes Dupre Pinell.
