Helen Prejean

Helen Antoinette Bergeron Prejean, 87, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died December 24, 2009. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Richard Prejean and wife Jennifer of Houma; Barrie Prejean and wife Janis of Flowery Branch, GA; daughters, Joanne McCammon and husband Carl of Cadiz, KY And Barbara Prejean of Houma; 8 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon J. Prejean; parents, Peter Bergeron and Emma Eschete Bergeron; son, Daniel Joseph Prejean; sisters, Laura Freeman, Thelma Babin, Leona Blanchard and Annis Freeman; brothers, Albert, Alvin, Bill, Charles and Ivy Bergeron. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
