Ruth Bergeron Achee, 78, a native and resident of Houma, LA died on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 8:15 AM. Visitation will be heldon Saturday,December 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. She is survived by her sons, Billy Thomas Achee and wife Tina and Philip John Achee and wife Virginia; daughters, Donna Jarveaux and husband Frank, Susan Crochet and husband Buddy; grandchildren, Dr. Brad Lake, Jami Jarveaux Bennett, Kristi Jarveaux, Marissa Achee, Ian Achee, Donovan Achee, Elizabeth Achee, Courtney Achee, Kalah Achee Thorson; great grandchildren, Maddison Jarveaux, Emma and Evan Bennett, Cameron Crochet, Kole Achee, MacKenzie and Joshua Achee, Anastazia Cadiere and brother, Cleveland Bergeron, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Donovan Achee; parents, Cleveland Joseph Bergeron, Sr. and Irene Marie Callahan Bergeron; son, Michael Donovan Achee; granddaughter, Frankie Lynne Jarveaux, Synclair Achee; sister, Elaine Turcotte aunt and godmother, Lucile Marie Bergeron She was a seamstress and retired owner of Ruth's alterations. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her two best friends Sandy Smith and Momma Weaver.
