Irma Marie Savoie Illum, 90, a native of Houma, Louisiana and a resident of Mandeville, Louisiana, died Thursday, December 17, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, Houma, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, Houma, Louisiana with burial in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Bayou Blue, Houma, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughters, Carla Arpin and husband Dwight of Mandeville, Louisiana; and Farncine Oye and husband Gary of Lake Forest, California; 2 Grandchildren and sister, Louise Clodio of Palos Verdes, California. She is preceded in death by, husband, Eugene Illum; parents, Peter Savoie and Jennie Marcel Savoie; daughter, Trudy Ann Marcel and brother, Dr. Issac Savoie. She was Roman Catholic and a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church, Bayou Blue, Houma, Louisiana.
