Druby Joseph Robichaux, 78, a native and resident of Montegut, LA died on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 4:30 a.m.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Thursday, December 10, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Montegut, LA with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his
wife, Arlette Valentin Robichaux of Montegut; daughters, Lorette Young and husband Billy of Houma
Alison Bourdier and husband Skip of Houma; son, William Robichaux, Sr., and wife Laurie of Montegut;
grandchildren, Rodney and Cory Bourg; Jina Young; Jade, Madilyn, and James Bourdier; William, Jr., Henry and Paul Robichaux; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Currin, Emma, Anna, Ashtyn, Brenna, Brooke and Malia; brothers, Robert Robichaux and wife Bobbie of Houma and Wilbur Robichaux and wife Kay of Tennessee and his
favorite companion his pet dog Jo Jo.
He is preceeded in death by,
parents, Stanley and Rose Ann Pitre Robichaux.
He was Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was a U.S. Veteran of the United States Air Force retiring after 22 years of service.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 272, VFW Lifetime Member, 40/8
A member of 622 A.R.E.F.S. He was very dedicated to the Military and a proud member
Of the American Legion.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
