Girdie Allemand

Girdie LeBoeuf Allemand, 99, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, died on Sunday, December 6, 2009. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral home and from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time on Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Service will be at 11:00 a.m with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Shirley and Austin Olivier, Rodney and Lillie Lirette Allemand, Doris and Clayton Theriot, Harris and Leonardine "Deanie" Segretto Allemand, Earlis and Elma Rodrigue Allemand, Royce and Carol Hue Allemand, Daniel and Lorraine Brunet Allemand, John and Mary Lirette Allemand, and Henry Whitney Prejean; 36 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren and 34 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alcee "Till" Allemand, her parents, Domenic and Adelaide Rodrigue LeBoeuf, one daughter, Elsie Allemand Prejean, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
