Ruth Marie LeBlanc, 83, a native of Schriever, LA and a resident of Lockport, LA died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 11:30 AM.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on
Friday, December 4, 2009 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM atSt. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church at
St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by
sons, Glenn James LeBlanc and fiance Jackie Voss of Houma; Philip John LeBlanc and wife Marie LeBlanc of Lockport; Bryan Anthony LeBlanc and wife Susan Leblanc of Gray; and Wayne Gregory LeBlanc and wife Elsie LeBlanc of Houma
Brother: Leroy LeBoeuf of Thibodaux
Sister: Lula Hayes of Waco, Texas; Beverly Lister of Kingston, OK,
10 Grandchildren and
6 Great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her
husband, Samuel Peter LeBlanc;
parents, Alcide LeBoeuf and Agnes Bonvillain LeBoeuf; and Alex Babin and Lillian Bonvillain Babin;
brothers, Mitchell LeBoeuf of Houma; Fred LeBoeuf of Schriever; Carroll LeBoeuf of Waco, TX; Leonce Babin of Houma; Albert Babin of Houma and sisters, Ruby Lirette of Houma; Louella Breaux of Houma.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
She was a member of the Bayou Blue Senior Citizens Club.
She was a member of the Kay Cee Ladies Aux. in Lockport, LA
She was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Gregory Catholic Church.
She loved to go to the casinos and enjoyed Mardi Gras.
She was an outstanding humanitarian in her community.
