Doris Hebert

Doris "Dee Dee" Prosperie Hebert,90, a native of Little Caillou, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Sunday, November 29, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughter, Dona Jude Hebert Boudreaux; grandchildren, Bruce Boudreaux and wife Alison, Monique "Niki" Boudreaux Lapeyrouse and husband Jody, Christie Boudreaux Dorman and husband Clayton, Rebecca "Becky" Boudreaux Kraemer and husband Michael, Jr., Angela Boudreaux Blanchard and husband Ronnie, Lanni Lynn "Twirp" Boudreaux Boquet and husband Gary "Blue", Jr., Robbie Boudreaux; 14 Great Grandchildren; brother, Ernest Prosperie and a loyal friend and devoted niece Mercedes Fabre Picou and the Picou family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hebert; parents, Joseph "Joe" Prosperie and Alena Lirette Prosperie; daughter, Faith "Chickie" Hebert Boudreaux and husband Robert "Bobby"; brothers, Junius Prosperie, Murphy Prosperie; sister, Eula Fabre Prosperie and great grandchild, Macie Lyn Blanchard. She retired from Terrebonne General as a nursing aid for 33 years. She was a parishioner St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was a loving Moma, MawMaw and Dee-Dee. She enjoyed fishing, her camp in Cocodrie and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by many.
