Peter Joseph Brunet, 66, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday,, November 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until service time Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church A Mass of Chrisitian burial will be at 2:00 pm. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Pauline Alice Marie Brunet White and husband Carroll White, Jr, Gray, LA; Millisa Ann Brunet Lirette and husband Jody of Lockport, LA; son, Peter Bryan Brunet of Gray, LA; sister, Evelyn Pitre and husband Kenneth of Houma, LA; brothers, James Brunet and wife Patrice of Houma, LA; and Mike Brunet and wife Ann of Lockport, LA; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth and Jacques Michael Lirette; Chad Matthew and Charlie Mato White. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maryann P. Feist Brunet; parents,Peter Joseph Brunet, Sr.and Elda G. Brunet Marie Courteaux. He was a welder and warehouse manager for over 30 years with Quality Shipyard. He was a member of the United Houma Nations. He was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
