Vicki Ann Breaux Pertuit, 62, a native of Delcambre, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died November 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held on
Friday, November 27, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, Raceland, LA.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church, Raceland, LA with burial in the church cemetery.
Survived by her husband, Glenn J. Pertuit of Houma, sons, Maurice “Joey” Joseph Babin and wife Chris of Plainfield, IL;
Wade Pertuit of Houma; and Carl Gremillion and wife Terri of of Sulphur, LA; daughters, Angela B. Tabor and husband James E. Tabor, III of Houma, LA and Carrie Pertuit of Houma, LA; sister, Mitzi Solito of Houma, LA;
grandchildren, Glenn Tabor, Dayton Pertuit, Gavin Tabor, Ashley Babin, Kayla and Trent Gremillion; 2 Great Grandchildren
Life time friend, Clara Walling of Baton Rouge, LA
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson J. Breaux and Ouida LeBlanc Breaux; brother, Wilson John “Johnny” Breaux, Jr.
She was a loving wife, devoted mother, caring grandmother and a friend to many.
She touched everyone she knew. For 23 years her joy was helping children learn.
She was a teacher’s aid at Legion Park and then East Houma School. She helped everyone in need. She was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
