Audry Falgout

Audry Authement Falgout, 85, a native of Chauvin, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Friday, November 20, 2009. Visitation will be on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma, Louisiana. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughter, Corliss Falgout Chambers and husband Merwin of Lawrenceville, GA, granddaughter, Jessica Elizabeth Chambers of Lawrenceville, GA and great granddaughter, Avery Pauline Cronkright and sister, Marguerite Pellegrin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Falgout, parents, Lawrence Andre' Authement and Lausitia Smith Authement, children, Maureen Ann Falgout and Robert Paul Falgout, sister, Maudry Authement Lapeyrouse and brother,Lawrence Andre' Authement, Jr. She was a Division Manager of the Catalog Department at Sears, Roebuck and Company for 27 years. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Gregory's Ladies Altar Society. She was a member of the VFW Aux. 9608 Chauvin, Louisiana. She was a member of the Terrebonne High School Class of 1942 which still meets monthly for lunch. She was a mall walker, having walked over 2000 miles.
