Adenise Dugas

Adenise Picahuffe Dugas, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died at 12:39 AM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until service on Thursday at Maria Immcolata Catholic Church in Houma. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday at the church with burial in St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Carroll J. Dugas and wife, Pamela Lirette Dugas; one daughter, Janice Dugas Johnson and husband, Barry; one grandson, Christopher Johnson; one grand daughter, Holly Dugas Hebert and Brett Hebert, Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Logan Hebert and Elizabeth Hebert; and two sisters, Marie Pichauffe Dugas and Eva Pichauffe Kreamer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred J. Dugas; parents, Joseph and Eva Baudoin Pichauffe, Sr.; brothers, Paul, Louis, Joseph and Marcellin Pichauffe; and sisters, Mary Pichauffe Justi and Louis Pichauffe. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church, and worked beside her husband in their family owned business, Dugas Bros. Supermarket, for 40 years. She loved and was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed crocheting and participating in the Southdown Marketplace Fairs.
