Mae Chauvin, 88, a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 7:40 PM. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Edwin Chauvin of Houma, LA; sons, Tom Chauvin and wife Sandra and Jules Chauvin and wife Sheila both of Houma, LA; daughters, Cheryl Francois and husband Michael and Peggy Goodman and Husband Michael both of Houston, TX; a special daughter, Annette Fanguy and husband Rory brother, Russell Authement and wife Nanny, 13 Grandchildren and 23 Great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alcide and Nita Authement A parishioner of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church.
