John Brent David, 50, a native of New Roads, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation will be held on
Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., Houma, Louisiana and on Monday, November 9, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Roads, Louisiana.
A Mass of Chrisitian burial will be held on Monday, November 9, 2009 at Noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Roads, Louisiana with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Roads, Louisiana.
He is survived by his Loving Wife, Sutzie David; father, John J. David of New Roads, LA; daughter, Kristen David Ladd of North Carolina; sons, Scott Paul Landry, Jr., of Houma, LA; Jacob Brent David of Baton Rouge, LA;
Dylan Joel David of Port Allen, LA; and Cole Falkner David of Cape Coral, Fl; sister, Anne Margaret David of New Roads, LA;
brother, C. Blaine David and wife Sheila of Erwinville, LA; J. Brad David of Morganza, LA; J. Scott David and wife Sonya of Gramercy, LA; mother-in-law, Verna Ehret of Houma, LA; father-in-law, Jerry Gaines of Diboll, TX; brother-in-law, Robert Farrington and wife Elaine of Marrero, LA;
sister-in-law, Jerri Smitko and friend Roxanne Sevin of Houma, LA
and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Anne E. Pourciau of New Roads, LA.
He was Catholic He was an Altar Boy in New Roads. A distinguished businessman. He was the owner of Bayou Express Seafood and Catering, Inc.
