Louis Joseph David, 84, a native of Napoleonville, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Chrisian Burial will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 64 1/2 years Ione Gordy David, Houma, LA daughter, Joy "Judy" Bergeron and husband Hartley Bergeron, Sr; son, Edwin "Butch" David, Sr and wife Elsie Adams David; daughter, Margie David, son, Kevin David and the late Bobby Lampshire David; grandchildren, Tina Robichaux and husband Tate Robichaux, Hartley Bergeron, Jr; Jessica Fanguy and husband Joey Fanguy, Edwin David,Jr and wife Nicole David, Christy Parfait and husband Merlin Parfait, Kyle David, Ryan David and Rachel Hillman and husband Andrew Hillman; great grandchildren, Justin Robichaux, Ryan Matherne, Chelsey Bergeron, Nathan Hillman, Jared David, Nicholas David, Katie David, Darian Smith, and Hunter Robichaux Alex Parfait and Lindsey Parfait; brother, Wilson David and wife Jo; sister, Winnefred Landry and husband Edward and his loving dog Chiquita. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eno David and Essie Blanchard David; son, Louis David, Jr and grand daughter, Melissa Bergeron. He was Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
