May Foolkes LeBoeuf, 85, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 7:15 AM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 9:30 AM until Service Time St. Francis de Sales Cathedral A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. Survived by her sister, Helena Word, sons, Roy LeBoeuf, Jr., and wife Renee' of Houma; Mike LeBoeuf and wife Judy of Houma; daughter, Martha LeBoeuf Giroir and husband Cliff of Lafayette; grandchildren, Bennie Boudreaux of Houma, Gina McDonald of Houma, Bret Giroir of Lake Charles, Julie Galloway of Naples, Florida, Cade LeBoeuf of Houma and Blanche Duke of Houma; great-grandchildren, Ashley Heigl, Jack Snyder, Courtney McDonald, Hunter Boudreaux, Matthew Galloway, Ben Giroir and Seth Duke. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Blanche Foolkes; sisters, Blanche Herron and Marie Hamilton and brother, John Foolkes. She enjoyed life with her family, fishing, hunting and baseball, and was one of the founders of T.A.R.C., and a member of the Krewe of Hyacinthians, and was a Eucharistic Minister of Terrebonne Parish. The family would like to extenda special thank you to her devoted care givers, Marie Pierre, Joanne Sims, Brenda Daggs, Hattie Nixon and Sonya Jarreaux and many others that had taken such good care of her.
