Jeanne Marie Babin, 82 a native and a resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 3:13 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 9:00 AM until service time Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 11:30 AM at the Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her son, Patrick Babin and wife Dawn of Houma, LA; daughter, Jane Ohlmeyer and husband David of Houma, LA; brother, Albert "Curly" Hebert and wife Jane of Houma, LA; four grandchildren, David Ohlmeyer, Jr; Olivia Babin, Suzie Heney and husband Jim, Dawn Jarveaux and husband Ben; three great grandchildren, Ethan and Jade Heney and Jace Jarveaux, one god daughter, Ginger Hebert Tindle and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Patrick Babin; parents, Eris Hebert, Sr and Eunice Dumesnil; and brothers, Harold Hebert and Eris "Sunny" Hebert, Jr. She was Catholic and a parhsioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
