Ida Buquet

Ida Marie Delaune Buquet, 76, a native of Labadieville, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, Louisiana died Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 30, 2009 at St. Bernadette from 1:00 p.m. until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, Louisiana. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Buquet and wife Alice of Houma, Kenneth Buquet, Sr., and wife Tammy of Houma; daughters, Ida Ann Ventura and husband Jose’ of Houma, Susan Pellegrin and husband Justilian of Houma, grandchildren, Eric Ventura, Lillie Chaisson, Jenny Pellegrin, Sabrine Buquet, Christie Buquet, Kenneth “T-Mike” Buquet, Jr., Brent Buquet, Abby Buquet and Rose Turner; daughter-in-law, Sandra Buquet of Houma; sister-in-law, Aline Buquet of Houma,special niece, Debra Corzo and husband Oscar of Houma and other nieces, nephews and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Louis Buquet, Sr.; mother, Lillian Delaune; son, Harry Buquet, Jr. and granddaughters: Little Susan Pellegrin and Buffy Buquet
