Alton Joseph Dupre, Jr., 49, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Montegut, LA died Saturday, October 10, 2009. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dufrene Dupre; parents, Alton Joseph Dupre, Sr. and Irna Marie Chaisson Dupre; daughter, Mandy Dupre Evans and husband Brent Evans; son, Coby Dupre ; grandchildren, Ethan Joseph Evans and Cullen Evans; brothers, Jerry Dupre and wife Wanda, Danny Dupre and wife Sherry, Eddie Joseph Dupre and wife Paula; and sister, Carlene Dupre Authement and husband Dale Authement. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Emily Dupre; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Azeline Chaisson and nephews, Trinity and "Lil" Jerry Dupre. He worked for Cameron International for over 19 years. He was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He graduated from South Terrebonne High School in 1978. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
