Margaret Chaisson

Margaret Marie Zeringue Chaisson, 91, a native of Dularge, Louisiand and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, died October 16, 2009. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home And on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, October 19, 2009 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and burial St. Francis Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her sons, John Wayne Chaisson and wife Kathy of Houma Matthew Mark Chaisson and wife Sandy of Houma; daughters, Patricia Gayle Lawrence and husband Robert of Houma Jackie Harper and husband Barry of Houma and Susan Chauvin of Chackbay; sisters, Marian Z. Luke of Houma and Olga Z. Johnson of California Grandchildren Dr. T.Gregory Chaisson, Midge Chaisson, Lauren Callejas, Robbie Lawrence, Stacie (Sam) Palmisano, Heather Blanchard, Pam Breaux, Derek Chaisson, Hayley Russo, Chris Chaisson, Josh Chauvin and Zack Chauvin; great-grandchildren, Sarah Smith, Brittany Chaisson, Billy Joe Palmisano, Emily Chaisson, Jacob Smith, Julia Callejas, Aaron Smith, Jordan Palmisano, Alexa Breaux, Parker Lawrence, Katie Faulk, Olivia Chaisson, Conner Chaisson, Eleana Callejas, Gillian Breaux, Rebecca Lawrence, Isabella Faulk, Hillary Chaisson, Valerie Blanchard, Victoria Russo, Whitney Russo, Marisa Callejas; sister-in-law, Beulah Zeirngue of Houma; brother and sister-in-law, Carrol and Lela Sigur of Houma and Eunice Chaisson. She is preceded in death by, husband, Sterling Valerie Chaisson; parents, Noah G. Zeringue and Alice Champagne Zeringue; son, Gregory James Chaisson; brother, Vila Zeringue; sisters, Adele Thorsen, Lorena Vice and Rita Cobb and grandson, Judd Michael Chaisson. The family would like to give a special thanks to Marie Boudreaux for being her caregiver for 2 ½ years, also a special thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice and South Louisiana Home Care.
