Urline Hymel

Mrs. Urline “Mimi” Chabaud Hymel, 92, entered the gates of Heaven at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009. She was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Bourg, LA., a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church and a 1934 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in New Orleans. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Wednesday, September 30. 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by, daughter, Mrs. Lynndell Guedry and husband Clayton; grandchildren, (3) Fred Guedry and Fiance’ Debbie, Phyllis Guedry and Paula White and husband, Timmy; great-grandchildren: (5) Marissa, Joseph, and Jenna Guedry, Lindsay and Gabrielle White. She is preceded in death byHer loving husband, Stanislaus “June” Hymel; parents, Gustave and Evelyn Mercier Chabaud. Mimi loved to cook and entertain for her extended family and friends. Lots of love and laughter were shared by all who came into her life. She will be remembered for her devotion to the Blessed Mother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
