Patricia Murphy

Patricia Ellen Buquet Murphy, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and a resident of Houma, LA, died September 26, 2009. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Monday, September 28, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at First United Methodist Church. Religious Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. She is survived by her, mother, Audrey Autin Buquet; son, Wayne Fredrick Murphy of Houma; daughters, Sheri Murphy Ledet of Houma and Audra Murphy Neal and husband Malcolm James Neal of Houma; sister, Judith Buquet Gibson of Houma and grandchildren, Austin Jack Murphy, Emily Ellen Ledet, Aubin James Neal and Zane Winfrey Neal. She is preceded in death by her father, Aubin “A.J.” Buquet; husband, Donald W. Murphy and son, Jack Donald Murphy. She was Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church, a member of its Choir and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Houma and the Busy Bees Homemaker.
