Nuel Benoit

Nuel Nicholas Benoit, Jr., 69, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died on September 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with burial St. Francis No. 2. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Crochet Benoit of Houma, Louisiana; sons, Steve Benoit, Sr., and Nanette H. Benoit of Houston, Texas; and Keith and Rhonda Benoit of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; daughters, Kim Benoit Ellender and husband Albert of Houma, Louisiana; brothers, Chris Benoit, Sr., of Houma, Louisiana; sisters, Elise Bienvenu of Houma, Louisiana; Pat Baio of Houston, Texas; And Cassandra Ledet of Houma, Louisiana; and grandchildren, Steven Benoit, Jr., Ashley Benoit, Ryan Ellender, Natalie Ellender, Kristen Ellender and Jacob Ellender. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nuel N. Benoit, Sr., and Elise Kaul Benoit and sisters, Dorothy Bergeron and Yolanda Thibodaux. He was a loving husband of 50 years, a caring dedicated father, parent and friend to all. He cherished all of his grandchildren. He was a devout catholic and an usher for Maria Immaculata Catholic Church. He was a member of the Ellendale Country Club and a very loyal Saints Fan. We will miss him forever.
