Evella Marie Thibodaux Pellegrin, 78, a native of Houma, Louisiana and a resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana died September 6, 2009 at 11:55 a.m. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunziata Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by her sons, Pierre Pellegrin and wife Nancy of Thibodaux and Dwayne Pellegrin and wife Dianne of Denham Springs; daughters, Rosadel Buquet and husband Lenward of Houma; Brenda Chatagnier and husband Faron of Houma and Yvonne Prosperie and husband Mike of Houma; brothers, Merlin Thibodaux of Houma, and Lloyd Thibodaux of Chauvin; sisters, Vera LeBouef of Houma and Margaret Thibodaux of Houma;7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Thibodaux and Marie Pellegrin Thibodaux; her husband, Pierre R. Pellegrin, Sr. sister, Judy Pertuit and brother, Dennis Thibodaux. She was Catholic and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Alter Society.
