Eddie Lofton, Jr.

T. Eddie Lofton, Jr. 71, a native of LeCompte, LA and a resident of Theriot, LA died Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 6:00 until 9:00 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Service will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Forst Lawn Cemetery in Pineville, LA. He is survived by his son, Dana Wayne Lofton and wife Melissa G. Lofton; daughters, Becky Lofton of Thibodaux and Lisa Lofton Domangue and husband Channing of Houma; former wife, Judy Walker Lofton; sister: Jane Trotter of Dothan, Alabama; granchildren, Blaine Lofton, Dillon Lofton, Walker Domangue and Ava Domangue. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thurman E. Lofton, Sr. and Vivian Barker Lofton. He ran several successful businesses in South Louisiana from 1976 to present. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. He was a member of the South Central Industrial Association and the Society of Petroleum and Chemical Engineers
