Jacob Fitch

Jacob J. Fitch, 38 went home to his Heavenly Father Sunday, April 2, 2017 at 1:05PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA  Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and resume Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00AM until service time. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.  Jacob is survived by his loving Wife, Sabrina Babin Fitch; Step-Children, whom he loved as his own; Taylor Verrett and wife Tonya, Colby Verrett and wife Kristen, Kora Verrett and companion Kendel; Grandchildren, Madison, Taylor Jr., Caiden, Kynlee, and Karter; Father, the Late Newman P. Fitch Sr. and Mother, Betty Williams Fitch Carbo and husband, Gerald Carbo Jr.;  Brothers, Newman Fitch Jr. and wife Jennifer, Brad Fitch and wife Brandi, Zachery Fitch and wife Tara, Jared Fitch and wife Laura, and Mark Fitch;  Step-Brother, Jordan Carbo; and Grandmother, Gloria Dardar Crochet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jacob was a faithful member of Trinity Caillou Baptist Church. Jacob has a very strong faith in his Lord, Jesus Christ. He was a little man with a big heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his little nieces and nephews; whom he loved dearly. He was the inspiration to all who knew him. Pastor Jared Fitch of Trinity Caillou Baptist Church will be officiating the services. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Fitch family.
