Dorothy Williams

Dorothy Mae Robinson Williams, 73, died March 23, 2017 at 2:45 AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5 PM until 9 PM and Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 8 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home with a service at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Roland Adam Williams, Sr.; daughters, Dollie Pierre, Susan Ellis and husband Raum , and Sandra Pierre; sisters, Eloise Robinson, Lucille Parfait and husband, Sonny, and Veronica Fitch and husband, Leroy; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Camille and Lucille Billiot Robinson; brother, Antoine Robinson; sisters, Clara Duthu, Eva Trahan, Alma Trosclair, Emelda Billiot and Mary Gregoire. She was a member of Trinity Caillou Baptist Church.                       She enjoyed Arts, crafts and sewing. Dorothy was a loving wife and mother along with being an excellent cook. She loved her sisters, nieces, and nephews along with her entire family. She will be greatly missed. The family wishes to extend a sincere and warm thanks to Haydel Hospice nurses. Also Barbara and Danielle, Eldrina , Shauna and any other person or persons whom we may have forgotten that had given of their time  Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Williams Family.
