So Van Nguyen

So Van Nguyen, age 89 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 6, 2017. He was a native of Vietnam and a resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, March 9, 2017 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Flowers are welcomed and accepted on Thursday, March 9, 2017 Between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  So Van Nguyen is survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years A Thi Ho. So Van Nguyen was an inspiration to his family. He was a business man and well respected. He was very generous, good hearted, kind, and loving. So Van Nguyen loved his family and it was very important that he instilled education to his grandchildren. He proudly served in the Military in South Vietnam between 1963 – 1966. So Van Nguyen will be dearly missed by his family. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Nguyen family.
