Gibson Joseph Anselmi, 83, a native of Golden Meadow, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 9:00 AM until service time St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Betty Portier Anselmi;daughter, Elaine Anselmi Rivere and husband Hansel; grandchildren, Melissa Hebert Delaune and husband Phillip, Tommy Hebert, Scott W. Rivere, Hansel Rivere, Jr. and wife Michelle; 5 Great granchildren: Chance Delaune, Chase Hebert, Dylan Hebert, Justin Rivere and Garrett Rivere Elizabeth Portier Anselmi, Houma, LA; He is preceded in death by his Parents, Gelvase Anselmi and Elizabeth Dantin Anselmi; Brothers, Preston Anselmi and Acton Anselmi and one grandchild, Brent Paul Rivere
