Paul Bonvillain, 86, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, LA died August 24, 2009.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on
Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Jackie Paul Bonvillain and wife Olinda Fayette Bonvillain of Bourg, LA and Glynn Patrick Bonvillain and Lucille Cenac Bonvillain of Bourg, LA;
brother, Earnest "Manny" Bonvillain of Houma;
grandchildren, Laura Lecompte and husband Scott, Melissa Avet and husband Tony, Jackie Briggs and husband Keith, Brad G. Bonvillain, and Kelly Bonvillain;
great grandchildren, Amy Palmer and companion Ronald Verret, Kristi Verret and husband Edward Verret, Sr, Allison Mobley and husband Randy Mobley, Chris Breaux, Ryan Avet, Kevin Briggs, Katie Briggs and Kasey Briggs;
Great GreatGrandchildren, Libby Naquin, Mariah Verret, Aiden Verret, Edward Verret, Jr and Allyse Mobley and Dasan Verret.

wife, Eunice Boudreaux Bonvillain;
parents, Earnest Ellis Bonvillain and Mary Magdelan Pitre Bonvillain;
brothers, Reuben Bonvillain,Irvin Bonvillain, Columbus Bonvillain, Donald Bonvillain, Wilbert Bonvillain, Hayes Louis Bonvillain;
sisters, Mary Magdelan LeBouef and Dorothy Mae Breaux.
He was Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the camp. He was a dedicated and faithful LSU, Saints, and Yankees fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather. He was a caring person who loved life, was very spiritual and had a deep devotion to St. Ann. He was owner/president along with his two sons Jackie and Glynn of Dixie Shipyard for the past 32 years. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
