Brittany Kay Braxton, 23, a native and resident of Houma, LA died on Sunday, August 9, 2009. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 5 P.M. till 9 P.M. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 8 A.M. till Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Religious Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 2 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Houma with burial in Garden of Memoriesl Cemetery. She is survived by her, daughter Lillian Grace Sherwood of Denham Springs, Sister and best friend Courtney Braxton of Houma, Sisters Camille Braxton, Callie Mae Braxton, and Cambri Braxton all of West Monroe, Step Sister Racheal Hebert of Baton Rouge, Brother Canen Braxton of West Monroe, Step Brother Bradley Hebert of Houma, Mother Edith Campbell Hebert and Step Father John of Houma, Father Clay Braxton and Step Mother Ursula Braxton of West Monroe, Grandmothers Irma Campbell of Houma, and Virginia Braxton of Cottondale FL, Niece Brianna Hughes of Houma, Compaion Chad Sherwood of Denham Springs, and Numerous Aunts and Uncles. She is preceded in death by her, Brother, Matthew Hughes, Grandfathers, C.F. Braxton and James Campbell. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Houma. She was a former Cheerleader and Soccer player, member of Delta Zeta Sorority and a Campus for Christ Member.
