Ruth Boquet Lecompte, 84, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, August 8, 2009. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her Husband of 67 years Philip R. LeCompte,Sr., of Houma, LA; sons, Philip LeCompte, Jr., and wife Gail of Houma, LA; Lynn LeCompte and wife Jan of Houma, LA; Glenn LeCompte and wife Debbie of Houma, LA; Tommy LeCompte and wife Stephanie of Houma, LA; daughters, Connie Boudreaux and husband Raymond Boudreaux, Jr., of Houma; Annette Poiencot and husband Lloyd of Houma, LA; brothers, Norris Boquet, Jr., of Houma, LA; Francis "Pete" Boquet of Houma, LA sister, Twilla Armstrong of Houma, LA; grandchildren, 19; great-grandchildren,26; and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by, parents, Norris Pierre Boquet and Annette Walker Boquet; son, Terry LeCompte; brother, J.D. Boquet; and great grandchild, Derrick Porche. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A member of St. Francis de Sales Ladies Auxillary.
