Glynn Lapeyrouse

Glynn Michael Lapeyrouse passed away on January 1, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 4, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will resume on Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. Glynn is survived by his wife, Donna Vachon Lapeyrouse; mother, Rita S. Lapeyrouse; sons, Lonnie Lapeyrouse and wife, Shawn, Eric Lapeyrouse and wife Joseane; siblings, Debra Neal and husband Patrick, David Lapeyrouse and wife Charlene, Chris Lapeyrouse and wife Charlene, Kathy Littlefield and husband Dexter, Mark Lapeyrouse and wife Penni, Jody Lapeyrouse and wife Rhonda, Gina Rhodes and husband, Joe and Carl Lapeyrouse and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Kayla Lapeyrouse Dupre and husband Aaron, Luke, Leo, Alexander and Mary Rose Lapeyrouse; great-grandchildren, Avery and Harper Dupre. Glynn was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and seafood boils. He thoroughly enjoyed his time with his sons, siblings, and mother. Glynn also loved music, bar-be-ques, and family gatherings. He was very talented and was known for his vegetable gardens. He was retired as a manufacturing manager and served in the U.S. Army. Glynn loved his country and proudly supported the Wounded Warrior Project. Glynn is preceded in death by his father, Morris Paul Lapeyrouse. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lapeyrouse family.
