Pierre Alexander Naquin, 68, a native of Isle de Jean Charles, LA and a resident of Montegut, LA, died at Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 4:20 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Friday, August 7, 2009 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial in Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, LA. he is survived by his wife, Maryline Billiot Naquin, sons, Roland Naquin and wife Penny, Donald Naquin and wife Wendy, and Simon Naquin; daughter, Sandra Naquin; brother, Albert Naquin; sisters, Denecia Billiot, Noelia Dupre and Anzelie Dardar; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam Wilfred Naquin and Valorine Bourg Naquin; brothers, Harry Naquin, Gustave Naquin, Simon Naquin, Gabriel Naquin, Bernard Naquin and Deme Naquin, Sr. He was a tugboat captain. He is Catholic and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
