Gloria Theriot

Gloria Ann Stoufflet Theriot, 76, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 7:40 AM.  She was a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, LA.  Visitation will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 11 AM.  Burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin, LA. She is survived by her sons, Burt Theriot and wife, Gwen of Galliano, and Dewey Theriot and wife, Shonna of Houma; daughter, Christina Theriot Gavin and husband, Thomas of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, Dewey Stoufflet, Jr; sister, Merle Price; grandchildren; Veronica Vail, Ty Theriot, Alesha Theriot, Presley Theriot and Jayden Trosclair; great-grandchildren, Wesley, Erin and Sophia Vail. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clinton Joseph Theriot; parents, Dewey, Sr. and Viola Ann Domangue Stoufflet; brother-in-law, Aarence “Bazoot” Price, Sr. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grand-children, going to the casino, reading autobiographies and watching the Young and the Restless.  She will be greatly missed by all.
