Kane Corte

Kane Corte, age 54, a resident of Houma died on December 13, 2016. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 9 A.M. until Service time at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma. Kane is survived by his parents, Barbara and Bobby Joe Corte, Sr.; sons Chase Corte and wife Arlene, Tyler Corte; sister, Kim Sanvi and husband Dennis; brother, Bobby Corte, Jr. and wife Virginia; and brother, Chris Corte. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Joe Corte, Mr. Luther Byrd and Mrs. Myra Byrd of Opelousas, LA. Kane was a business partner of COR-Val, Inc. for 17 years and most recently founder and owner of Horizon Energy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vandebilt Catholic High School.
