Randolph passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Vowells mill, Louisiana and a resident of Houma.
Relative and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, December 2, 2016 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Reflection of Life Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
Randolph is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Vernie Endsley Coffman; sons, Vernon and Randy Coffman; daughter, Cindy Rook and husband Bruce; eleven grandkids and 15 great-grandkids; sisters, Carolyn Songe and Sue Giroir.
Randolph is preceded in death by his father, James Coffman; mother, Ruth Jett and husband Leon; sister, Faye Soudlier.
Randolph was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a very generous man with a good heart and loved life. His priorities in life was his family, which he looked forward to having family night every Wednesday. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and multiple chapters within the lodge, which included, Scottish Rite, Unity Lodge, York Chapter, Indivisible Friends, and Jerusalem Shriners. Randolph looked forward in participating in the Mardi Gras parades every year for the Shriners Clown Unit. He also retired from the Post Office after 32 years of service. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Amy Abbott Coffman for her love and care she has shown to the family, also to Hospice of South Louisiana for their comfort and compassion.
