Christopher Steib

Christopher Steib, age 25, passed away on November 15, 2016, Chris left this world and is now spending eternity with his Lord and Savior and resting in the arms of his mother, Vickie; he was a native of Houma and resident of New Orleans. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the Chapel Magnolia on Friday, November 18, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2. Chris is survived by his father, Randy Steib; brother, Evan Steib; uncle, James Steib and wife Shawna, Travis Steib; cousins, Jordan Steib, Erica Steib, Braelynn Steib and Alana Lirette ;  paternal grandparents, Mark and Bobbie Steib; maternal grandmother, Gloria Arceneaux; Godmother, Louise and husband Daniel Whipple Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Arceneaux Steib; Chris was a loving son and brother. Chris was quiet but had a group of friends which they would hang out and enjoyed listening to music and watching movies.  Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Steib family.
