He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was self-employed fisherman for 54 years and once he retired from the water, he made fishing nets for many of his fisherman friends for 12 years. He was a life time member of the 3rd degree Knights of Columbus and life time member of the Ward 7. He enjoyed gardening, working outside, fishing, and hunting with his son, granddaughter and great-grandsons. He was the best husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed but knowing he is with our Lord and Savior is comforting to the family. The family would like to thank the staff of Mary Bird Perkins, TGMC Bayou Home Care, and South LA Hospice, all the family and friends who walked with up through this journey with our dad and made it as easy as possible for us. God bless you all.
