Mary Lynn Rau

Mary Lynn Rau, 83, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 4:15 a.m.  Visitation will be from 10:00AM until Service time Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00PM at the cathedral with burial to follow at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. Mary Lynn is survived by 3 Sons, Fritz J. and wife Rhoda, David J. and wife Margaret, Eric H. and wife Erica Rau; 4 daughters, Mary Frances Parker and husband Bill, Marian Pitre and husband Curren, Judy Rau-Siefker and Nancy St. Martin and husband Bill; 37 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Mary Lynn is preceded in death by her husband, Edmund James Rau, Sr,; son, Edmund James “Jimmy” Rau, Jr.; and daughter, Mary Jane Rau.Mary Lynn was a homemaker and loved being with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to Louis Children’s Crisis Center, P.O. Box 2866, Houma, Louisiana 70361. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Rau Family.
