Leona “Nanny” Fanguy Crochet, 97, passed away October 26, 2016. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00AM until service time. Funeral Services will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00AM with burial to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Leona “Nanny” is survived by her Niece Wendy Rogers (James), Nephews Terry Fanguy (Toni Ann), Mark Fanguy (Carla), Ed Fanguy; great nieces and nephews, Allyson Kyzar (Shawn), Joey Fanguy (Christina), Rusty Fanguy (Kellie), Crystal Hatch (Keith), Amanda Glorioso (Charlie), Jeremy Rogers (Candace), Cara Rodrigue (Andrew), Cami Fanguy, Kyle Fanguy. She is also survived by thirteen great-great nieces and nephews. “Nanny” was preceded in death by her first Husband Howard Boyne and her second Husband Roy Crochet; Parents, Edwin Fanguy and Lula Duplantis Fanguy; Brother Edwin “Nookie” Fanguy; and her loving cat Phoebe. The family would like to thank Jeremy Chaisson with Bayou Home Care, Dr. Ray Cinnater, Nancy Warren and her staff for their care during our time of need. The family also gives a special thanks to “Nanny’s Angels”, Vera Landry, Debra “Baboo” Duval, Mary Parfait and Margaret Dubois for the love and compassion given to Nanny everyday.
