Henry Adoue

Henry “Bert” Bertrand Adoue, 89, died October 22, 2016 at 7:52 AM.  He was a native of New Orleans and resident of Bourg, LA   Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 9 AM until funeral time at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.  Burial will be held in Holy Rosary Cemetery.                   . He is survived by his sons, Thomas E. Adoue and wife, Carol Engelbracht, Michael F. Adoue and wife, Rayne Wild, Donald J. Adoue and wife, Janet Martin, and Gene L. Adoue; brothers, Joseph A. Adoue and wife, Joyce Graf; sisters-in-law, Maxie P. Champagne, and JoAnn P. Tilbury and husband, David; grandchildren, Michelle L. Adoue, Lynne A. Adoue, Robert A. Adoue, Sarah E. Adoue, Meredith D. Freeman, Emily E. Adoue and Isabelle F. Adoue: great-grandchildren, Larry A. Snyder, Jr. and Avery P. Adoue; He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lee Price Adoue, parents, Eugene Leon and Irma Victor Adoue; brothers, Andre’, Victor, and Eugene Adoue; sisters, Laure Adoue and Therese Pyle. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he served as a volunteer. He was an avid fisherman and gardener.  Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Adoue Family.
