Edward Herron

Edward Ronald Herron, Sr, 67, a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Houma, LA died on Saturday, July 18, 2009 Visitation: Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Valarie Degruise Herron, Houma, LA; son, Edward Ronald Herron, Jr and wife Jodi; daughters, Sandra Marie Meche and husband Kevin and Linda Lee Courteaux and husband Mark. His five grandchildren,Stacie and Blake Herron, Nicholas and Megan Meche and Zachary Courteaux and one great grandchild, Addison. He is preceded in death by, his father,Dewey Herron and his mother,Irene Wells Vaux. He was the owner of The Factory Coffee Shop, after 30 years he retired and it is now Big Eddie's Cafe. He and his wife, Valarie established Special Tees Shirt Shop. Edward loved music, cars and building projects. He was a founder of the Selucrey Sophistocats Marching Club and a past member of Hercules.
